It does employ medium level content filtering, however the service will not perform virus scanning. Users are expected to keep their computers up to date with the latest virus scanners and security patches. The firewall does not protect against malicious software, Trojans, worms or virus attacks. Lasseters Hotel Casino accepts no responsibility for any damage, direct or consequential, resulting from the use of this service. While Lasseters Hotel Casino takes every effort to secure the Wireless Network, client’s security can not be guaranteed due to the nature in which Wireless operates. Wireless is not a foolproof means of transmitting and receiving data and any information sent over the Network can be intercepted. It is recommended that clients be aware of these security limitations when using this service.

Users are advised that Australia has legislation governing the viewing, distribution, downloading and storing of material of an explicit nature. The user of the service is solely responsible for their on-line conduct and material downloaded, stored or distributed. It is strongly advised that children be supervised when using this service.

Acceptable Usage Policy

The Service may not be used to send out unsolicited email (Spam). The Service may not be used to scan, hack or attack third party computer systems or initiate DoS attacks. The service may not be used for any illegal activity under Australian Law or under Laws in any other country. Lasseters Hotel Casino may terminate any users session without notice if the user is found to engage in any activity mentioned above or any activity that has a detrimental effect on the Wireless Network. Lasseters Hotel Casino may pass log files and other information pertaining to the usage of this service to Law Enforcement Agencies, if requested.
